Steadfast With Hope

Today I am encouraged with the promise of hope as I read:

Psalm 130:5-6 " I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the LORD more than a watchman for the morning, more than a watchman for the morning."

and

"They gave our master a crown of thorns, why do we hope for a crown of roses?"
"The law works fear and wrath; grace works hope and mercy." Martin Luther

As I reflect on the current events in our home I have been brought to a place of bowing the knee, humble surrender, and a newness of hope in Christ my Savior. I am in awe of the strength of God during the weakness of 'Tarah". I am amazed at the goodness of Christ during the weariness of "Tarah". I am astonished at the comfort of the Spirit when chaos attempts to take a hold of "Tarah". I am humbled by the greatness of this Savior, when "Tarah" is called one of His elect, His child, His redeemed. "According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." 1 Peter 1:3-5

God the Father, Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit are the beautiful source of my hope and ultimate joy. Thank you Jesus for being my provider of hope.... hope everlasting.
