On March 18th we welcomed Zealand James into our family. I am now an 'Auntie Tarah' to four kiddos and loving it! We are giving thanks to our gracious God who is sustaining the life of both Zealand and Annie (his mommy). Even at a month pre-due date Zealand weighed in at 6lbs 5oz and 19 inches long. He was getting to be a big boy in there, especially if he would have 'cooked' until April 17th! He is now reunited with his mommy after being monitored overnight on a separate floor the first night to make sure his preemie lungs were functioning properly. Annie is still by no means 'up to speed', but she is on the right road towards recovery. Continued prayer for her strength and healing is needed. Also prayer for my brother, Tyler, during this time is much appreciated as he is caring for his wife and new son while needing to make decisions on little to no sleep. Pray that he would learn to draw his strength from Christ and to trust in God's sovereign will for his family's lives.
